Terra Speakers Newsletter: December 6, 2012

We recently sent out new Terra price sheets. Like all manufacturers we were concerned because we had to pass along some price increases. The next day we received this response in an e-mail:

Because of the quality along with the fact they are built here and my ability to tell my customer these are likely the finest all weather loudspeakers in the world, I will sell your products regardless of any price increases that must be added. Keep on making great products with no comprises as some of us know that always costs more!

We sent Marc a request to let us publish a newsletter with his eloquent understanding of why Terra speakers are not your average outdoor speakers. He responded:

Absolutely, that is fine as there are likely many dealers who like myself never used your speakers thinking they were just another outdoor speaker. If you can just get them to understand how much better Terra speakers are, you will have them.

I was talking to a dealer friend of mine the other day who said he had known of Terra for years like I had, but didn’t think you were any different than the [redacted] and [redacted] brands he was already using. I told him he couldn’t be more wrong, as I had been.

Business is still tough out there. We all know that it’s harder to make the sale and new customers can be few and far between. But when you get those sales opportunities remember, the more creative your solutions to the customers’ needs and wants and offering them high quality products that they can’t find everywhere else will certainly set you apart. Selling an American made, superior sounding outdoor high reliability speaker may not be all that sexy, but it’ll lead to more satisfied customers, fewer call backs, and more dollars on your bottom line. What’s not to like?
